Working entitlement codes
The 31st August, is the deadline for parents applying for eligibility codes. These only apply to working entitlement eligibility codes for 2, 3&4 year olds. Parents must have applied for and received their eligibility code before those dates in order to access a place for autumn term. If a parent does not get their code until after 1st September or later they will not be eligible for the working entitlement hours until Spring 2026.

Universal Credit and the household income is £15,400 a year or less after tax, not including benefit payments.
